DEFINITIONS
The “Event”:
The 2018 Thailand SUP Festival (also referred to as the 5th Thailand SUP Festival)
Date: 7-8 April 2018
Location: Bang Tao beach, Phuket, Thailand (in front of LUX Beach Club)
The “Event Organiser”:
Conundrum Co., Ltd. trading as iSUP Samui

The “SUP Activities”:
Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) activities including:
- Stand Up Paddleboard races
- Stand Up Paddleboard lessons
- Stand Up Paddleboard yoga classes
- Demonstration of Stand Up Paddleboard equipment
The “Equipment”:
Stand Up Paddleboard, Paddle, Leash
The “Participants”:
The person, and all children in your care, using the service and equipment supplied by the service provider.
GENERAL
All Participants understand and acknowledge that SUP Activities are dangerous and that there are inherent risks which may result in serious injury to yourself and members of your family. Additionally, water/waves/ocean can act in a sudden and unpredictable way.
All Participants must be able to swim.
All Participants declare that they are medically and physically fit and able to participate in the Event.
Children under the age of 15 must be supervised by an adult.
All Participants are aware that SUP Activities are weather dependent. SUP Activities may be cancelled or rescheduled due to dangerous weather, for example thunderstorms and strong winds.
All Participants must not drink alcohol or take prohibited drugs before or during SUP Activities.
All Participants agree to provide a complete and unconditional release of all liability of the Event Organiser and its employees, volunteers and agents in the event of them and/or the children under their care, suffering injury or death.
All Participants authorise the event organiser to arrange rescue, first aid and medical treatment as necessary and they agree to pay for all associated costs.
PAYMENT
Payment may be made by credit card or bank transfer prior to the event, or cash on the day.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Participants acknowledge and consent to photographs and electronic images being taken of them during their participation in the Event. They acknowledge that such photographs and images are owned by the Event Organisers (and share with sponsors of such event) and that it may use the photographs for promotional or other purposes without any further consent being obtained. Further, they consent to the Event Organisers using their name, image, likeness and also their performance in the Event, at any time by any form of media, to promote the Event.
PREVAILING CONDITIONS
The Participant acknowledges and agree that: (a) the Event can and will be effected by the weather conditions; and (b) the Event Organiser cannot control the weather and that the weather conditions may change without warning; (c) there is an element of the “luck of the prevailing conditions” in undertaking the Event; and (d) If the Event is cancelled due to weather or other ‘Act of God’ conditions or other factors beyond the control of the Event Organiser, my entry fee shall be non-refundable.
DAMAGES
Any equipment damage is payable by the Participant or the parent/guarding of any persons under 18 years.
In the case of a Participant causing damage to public property or personal items of others, the Participants are therefore liable to pay damages to the other party.
